Following his win at The Open in 2014, Rory McIlroy needs to win The Masters at Augusta in April to become the first European to have won all four major titles.
In this video he reflects on his seven years as a professional, and gives us a small insight into some of the things that have been so critical in helping him become the player he has become.
Which of the things that he mentions do you think has been most influential?
Is it his great parents and people around him that believe in him and what he can do, or all of the hard work that he's put in ? Or is it the fact that he's gained great experience playing on all sorts of courses in different conditions, or that he's been able to retain perspective and continue to love the game as much as he did when he was a kid ?
Or maybe it's just how much he appreciates that the wind can affect the line and pace of a putt ?
Of course it all of these and many more besides.
Everything that Rory has learnt over the years though was captured in this single shot at Heron Bay in the Honda Classic of 2014.
