Graeme Walker is one of England;s leading golf coaches. He is based at the Oaks Academy in Yorkshire, and has been a leading member of the England Men's Coaching Programme for many years, coaching players such as Danny Willett, David Horsey and Paul Waring.
Amongst many others, he has also worked extensively with our own Chris Wood and Chris Lloyd.
In this video, Graeme explains the importance of alignment, swing length and swing speed in helping you to contol the all important distance in your wedge game.
Back in January, three of our County 1st Team players had the wonderful opportunity to spend a day in the company of Chris Wood, and distance control with the wedges was the first thing that Chris wanted to work on.
Test yourself to see how good you are at controlling distance between 20 and 100 yards. Hitting the ball straight in that range is easy; the top players can hit it the right distance too.
